Hi I am Zlata Berman, an attorney from Spektor, Spektor & Berman. In this video, I am going to talk about rescheduling your adjustment of status interviews with USCIS. Rescheduling an interview with USCIS could be incredibly difficult. Although you have instructions and support from USCIS customer service, yet rescheduling your interview can be a challenging task. No matter what the situation is, I would encourage you to try to attend the USCIS interview.

Hi ,I am Zlata Berman, an attorney from Spektor, Spektor & Berman.
I’d like to discuss with you today rescheduling your adjustment of status interviews with USCIS. If you’re scheduled for an Adjustment of Status interview or a marriage interview with USCIS and you need to reschedule it is incredibly difficult to do so.
Unfortunately, although there are instructions on how to do it on your notices, between calling the customer service number to do it, and then alerting your local field office of the rescheduling, something gets completely lost between these agencies and interviews end up not being rescheduled. Instead of what happens is the person gets denied for non-appearance.
I would encourage you to try to attend the interview. Of course, if you’re sick of course or other COVID issues, you should stay at home. However, in any other situation, if it’s just something that you know you can’t do, try to make sure that you appear.
