I am Yakov Spektor, one of the attorneys at Spektor, Spektor and Berman. Today, I am going to talk about male victims of domestic abuse.
Are you a victim of domestic abuse? If so, you are eligible to apply for your green card in the United States.
It’s not an easy application because you may need to submit plenty of proof and getting solid evidence of domestic abuse could be challenging. That’s why proving this to the government becomes difficult.
Still, there’s a possibility you can get your status in the United States.
All you have to do is to do it right!

Green card for male victims of domestic abuse
I’m one of the attorneys at the law firm Spektor, Spektor & Berman.
Today I’d like to talk to you about the topic that not many people like to really talk about. And that is the male victims of domestic abuse.
Now, as you may know, if you were a victim of domestic abuse, you’re eligible to apply for your green card in the United States, on your own.
However, it’s not an easy application, you need to submit plenty of proof. And even though their abuse may be revealed, but they may not have any evidence of it.
So, the male victims of domestic abuse might think that hey, it’s pretty hopeless, you know, that’s not something that we would be able to prove to the government.
Well, in fact, it is a possibility. A lot of our clients are male victims of domestic abuse, and we give them their status in the United States pretty consistently.
The trick is to know what you’re doing and to do it right. That’s something that you would only want to discuss with the immigration lawyers such as myself, we would be able to tell you, if, indeed you may have a claim or what you might need to do to maximize your chances of winning.
If you would like to do that, get in touch with us, and we’ll be happy to consult. Thank you.
